Top six-all around gymnasts (plus one alternate) from combined sessions (if multiple sessions) will qualify to represent Northern California at the National Judges Cup competition, held in

Tinley Park, IL
January 5-7, 2024

State Team qualifiers will be announced immediately following the last session.  Parent/guardian, athlete and coach MUST be present. NorCal NAWGJ will pay for travel, accomodations (for one coach and athlete), athlete apparel and meet entry expenses. This includes the seventh “alternate” athlete, who will compete in a separate session if not called to compete for the NorCal Team.

Level 6 through 10 gymnasts attend to get feedback from judges prior to the spring season.  Gymnasts can show skills, full routines, or have coaches spot them. It is for feedback, not only for scores.

• No awards will be presented.
• Each athlete will receive a written critique on each event.
• Judges will be available to answer questions during and after the meet.
• This meet is meant to be informal.
• Gymnasts are not required to show full routines on all events.
• This is a USAG sanctioned event.
• Full routines must be scored for mobility.
• Scores can be used for qualification to Optional and State Championships.

Xcel gymnasts will compete in this sanctioned event while judges verify special requirements and provide feedback.  This is a scored meet with awards being presented for top finishers.
